Chrissy Brooke

Chrissy Brooke:  Dance is my life, my passion, and it always has been.  Anna Du Boisson’s school has transferred my dreams into reality by offering me funding through the Du Boisson Dance Foundation.  With this funding, I received the remarkable training that I need to make it in this industry.

I’ve been working as a professional dancer for seven years now and have been lucky enough to perform in West End shows such as ‘Phantom of the Opera’, ‘An American in Paris’ and ‘Strictly Ballroom’. I was in the first original tour cast of ‘Wicked’, have danced for Robbie Williams and was in Spielberg’s ‘Ready Player One’, as well as winning ITV’s ‘Dance Dance Dance’.  I am currently filming for the Cat’s Movie.  I am so grateful for all these amazing opportunities that I’m able to take up because of my scholarship place at  ‘The Young Dancers Academy’. The solid technique and artistry that Anna teaches is still with me now and has transformed me into the performer I am today.   My stage skills have been hugely helped by all the wonderful performing opportunities within the school itself during my time there.  I have so many amazing memories. I’ll always be truly grateful to Anna and the YDA team.
